Family[]

Naruto Uzumaki[]

Naruto is Boruto's father. Boruto used to be very close to his father before Naruto became the Hokage, and although Boruto still loves him, their relationship had grown more complicated and strained. This was result of Naruto's duties as Hokage distracting him from spending enough time with his family, which made Boruto feel neglected, as well as resentful to the Hokage title. Boruto would occasionally pull pranks such as defacing the Hokage Rock just to seek his father's attention.

Boruto would also react with dismay at the mention of him following in the footsteps of his father and grandfather and often felt like he lived in their shadows. As a result, Boruto tended to rebel against his father and used any means to surpass his legacy, even by cheating in the Chūnin Exams, after being caught cheating, Naruto removed Boruto from the exams and told Boruto that he will lecture him when they get home. Enraged, Boruto lashes out at Naruto for when he has time to lecture him and Boruto blames Naruto for everything that has happened. However, as they first fought Momoshiki and Kinshiki, and Boruto witnessed his father, Naruto's true powers for the first time in Tailed Beast Mode and his efforts to defend the village, Boruto started to feel guilty for how badly he treated his father and he started to understand the kind of person Naruto is. After this Boruto started to mature to the point where he was willing to risk his life to join Sasuke and the other Kage to rescue Naruto. When Naruto tried to apologize for inadvertently neglecting him, Boruto replied things are fine the way they are, but what he wanted most was to hear stories of Naruto's past.

After the battle was over, Boruto and Naruto reconciled their differences and their relationship significantly improved, to the extent that Naruto was home more often and Boruto asked him to do his best at work.

Hinata Uzumaki[]

Hinata is Boruto's mother. In contrast to his strained relationship with his father, Boruto is very close to his mother and is very sensitive to her well-being. But that doesn't mean he doesn't get angry at his mother sometimes. When Boruto got angry at Naruto for failing to come to Himawari's birthday party, Boruto lashed out at her that he prefers no farther than a father who is rarely home and he believed Naruto's life as an orphan was better than the kind of life Boruto has. Although Hinata was deeply troubled by her son, Boruto's words, she assured him that Naruto loved them dearly and his duty as Hokage was keeping them and the village safe. Hinata loves her son dearly and contently worries about him, and she even refused to let him join the mission to rescue Naruto; until she saw Boruto wearing Naruto's old jacket and Sasuke's headband protector. This caused her to remember see Naruto in him and she decided to trust her son.

Himawari Uzumaki[]

Himawari is Boruto's younger sister. Boruto loves his little sister dearly and is very protective of her. However, Boruto is sometimes terrified of his younger sister when she is provoked enough, and she can become very confrontational, showing an intimidating and violent side, enough to make Boruto run away and hide from her.

Boruto is also very considerate of Himawari's feelings, such as when he got mad on her behalf at their father, Naruto for not being able to come to her birthday party.

It's also noted that both Boruto and her get gushes over and doted on by their aunt Hanabi and their maternal grandfather Hiashi Hyūga.

Boruto's relationship with Himawari was affected due to Boruto and Kawaki switching lives due to Omnipotence. With Himawari remembering everything about Boruto and Kawaki being reversed. During the three years since he left the village, Himawari desired to become strong and to help him, believing that there is more behind the reasoning of what happend. But due to the effects of Omnipotence, Himawari no longer calls him "Big Brother".

Hanabi Hyūga[]

Hanabi is Boruto's maternal aunt. Like Konohomaru, Boruto calls her Big Sis Hanabi or Big Sis. Hanabi cares for Boruto very much, and the thought that anything would to happen to him fills her with worry and dread. Hanabi mentions that when he calls her Big Sis, and she also mentions that Boruto is a sweet, good nature kid. Hanabi is known to dote over him and his sister Himawari and gushes over them when they come to visit the Hyūga estate. It also known that Hanabi shows annoyance Boruto stated that his mother's cooking was better. Hanabi also has a strong compassion for him as she strongly wants him to succeed.

Kawaki[]

Kawaki is Boruto's adoptive brother. At first, Boruto and Kawaki didn't get along, as Kawaki believe Boruto was from Kara. But eventually over time Kawaki open up to Boruto and Naruto. Kawaki develop a brotherly bond with Boruto even telling him on how he got his Kāma. Over time the two's Kāmas create a resonance that accelerated the takeover rate for the both of them. After the fight with Isshiki, Kawaki told Boruto that he should make someone his own vessel ideally Code to put his own Kāma on to. Kawaki was also annoyed when he found out that Boruto took Amado's Byakugan Drugs and argued with Boruto and his team with the Shinobi system and training. Kawaki was adopted into the Uzumaki household and Boruto gave him his Forehead Protector. Boruto has been seen to care for him even when Kawaki went to confront Code while leaving a Shadow Clone behind. During the conversation with Code, Boruto stated that he would protect him. During the battle against Code, Boruto collapsed in pain due to effect to Amado's medicine. After Momoshiki manifested again and after the arrived of Naruto and Shikamaru, Boruto woke and request Kawaki to use their last-ditch idea to permanently suppress Momoshiki. Under Boruto's order, Kawaki stab Boruto through the chest. However, after Momoshiki revived Boruto, he couldn't tell any of his teammates that Kawaki was the one who killed him.

When Code invaded Konoha Amado stated that him and Kawaki would need an amount of time to train to fight Code. When Amado was revealing his true motives, he learned that Amado had modified Kawaki's Kāma storing Amado's late daughter Akebi in a plan to revive her. When Ada was using her Senrigan to look into the past to see if Amado had a daughter under the request by Shikamaru, Boruto had a mental communication with Momoshiki who ask request that he shouldn't let Kawaki find out as he wishes not to fight him again. Due to their shared thoughts Boruto was was able to see the future where Sarada and Mitsuki along with Team 10 and other Konoha-nin and Kawaki. However later Kawaki found out that Boruto is able to commuinte with Momoshiki. It was later revealed during Kawaki and Naruto's conversation that he felt gulity that he failed to kill Boruto after he was rescurrected, but doesn't plan on failing as he plans to kill him again. On the Hokage Rock, Kawaki would try to seal him in a dimension like he did with Naruto and Hinata but that failed, during the battle, Boruto would take a slash that was meant for Sarada having the scar on his right eye and slash the forehead protector given to him by Sasuke. Later during the hunt for Kawaki with Ada arrives by his side, not caring about what happens to him and wish to kill Boruto and Momoshiki, but because Boruto was Naruto's son he wishes that Boruto was the outsider, Ada would use her ability to rewrite the memories, she effectively switched the roles of Boruto and Kawaki. Having Boruto as the outsider and Kawaki as the son of Naruto, "Kawaki Uzumaki". Kawaki had effectively taken everything from Boruto, and ka*wkai would also create a lie where Boruto had killed Naruto. Kawaki plans to use his lie so that nobody would get in his way to kill Boruto since they had swapped lives, and everyone now sees him as a Hokage Killer and the enemy of Konoha. After Boruto was saved by Sasuke due to Sarada's request, Boruto reflected that he truly didn't understand Kawaki, as he had everything and Kawaki had nothing. Ada believes that Kawaki does see Boruto as a brother. Boruto takes the blame on himself that he was the one who had driven Kawaki to the brink, seeing that he has his own sense of justice, seeing that his father hated him, and did everything to defeat Momoshiki even becoming a brother killer in the process. Boruto takes the blame on himself and decides that he can't let Kawaki be a brother killer. Boruto decides to grow stronger to resolve his conflict with Kawaki. With Kawaki vowing that no matter how far he runs he will find him and kill him as long as he's a Ōtsutsuki, with Kawaki calling him brother.

Three years later, Kawaki would continue living in Boruto's life. Holding on to the desires of killing Boruto. Even believing that if Boruto was able to master the ablity to hide his chakra signature, he would be able to sense him. They would later meet again after Code decided to invade Konoha to draw out Boruto, after Boruto defeating Code, Kawaki antagonises Boruto however Boruto didn't pay any heed to Kawaki as Boruto was focused on tracking the Ten-Tails. After Code's invasion of Konoha, Kawaki continued in insticting that Boruto needs to be killed because he's an Ōtsutsuki.

In sometime later, Kawaki would seem to have changed his mind of killing Boruto, as during the fight on the destroyed remises of Konoha on the destoryed the Hokage rock. Boruto stating that he didn't think that Kawaki would go so far. Kawaki threating to send Boruto where he sent Naruto and the end of the era of Shinobi. The two would continue to fight each other on the destroyed remises of the Hokage rock on Naruto's stone face.

Friends and Allies[]

Sarada Uchiha[]

Sarada is Boruto's childhood friend, rival, classmate and teammate. Because their parents have known one another their whole lives, Boruto has known Sarada for as long as he can remember. During their childhood, Boruto didn't pay much attention to Sarada, who often secretly followed him around the village. When Sarada announced her dream of becoming Hokage, Boruto scoffed at her. After being placed on the same team, Boruto showed no interest in working together with her, which left her angry at him and accused him of trying to ruin her dream. Boruto initially was willing to work together with Sarada if it benefited him. However, in spite of how much they argue, it is shown that Boruto cares deeply for Sarada, and they have a strong bond of trust; Boruto trusts Sarada the most due to her intelligence and Sarada truly believes Boruto can be a strong ninja.

Boruto is also protective of Sarada and doesn't hesitate to put his own fear aside in order to protect her from harm, due to their interactions with each other, it is strongly implied that Boruto has romantic feelings for Sarada, who has long been suspected of having a crush on Boruto, this first evidence is when Boruto blushed when Sarada commented that his eyes were bluer than his father's. After realizing his dream, Boruto told Sarada he wanted to be her right-hand man when she becomes Hokage and he promises her that he will protect her, which caused her to deeply blush.

During the rematch with Deepa Sarada along with Mitsuki helped and protected him and adding their power so that he wouldn't lose his arm when he was doing the Compression Rasengan, effectively turning it into a Super Compression Rasengan.

After Boruto's death by "Code" (unknown to her that it was Kawaki who killed Boruto) and later his resurrection by Momoshiki. Sarada was shocked and revealed to hear that he survived. But despite her relief, she felt angry that she couldn't help him and felt undependable. She wanted to be able to help him more, she had Mitsuki to get stronger to fight Ōtsutsuki level threats to fight alongside with Boruto. After learning that it was Kawaki that killed him instead of Code, Sarada went after Boruto as she learned that Kawaki plans to kill Boruto again. During Boruto and Kawaki's fight on, Boruto would take a hit that was intented for her gaining a scar on his eye.

Boruto's relationship with Sarada remained unaffected during the effects of Omnipotence where Boruto and Kawaki switched lives. As Sarada was unaffected by Omnipotence, Sarada is one of the few people who knows that Boruto is actually the son of Naruto. Because other people were affected by Ada's Omnipotence. Sarada was shocked when Kawaki lied about Boruto killing Naruto but after Sumire informed Sarada about the change in reality, Sarada desirably tried pleading to her father to save Boruto causing the awakening of her Mangekyō Sharingan. While Boruto and Sasuke were away from the village, Sarada praises that Boruto and Sasuke to be safe.

During the time Boruto and Sasuke had left the village, Sarada would find out about Omnipotence and would aruge against Shikamaru about his innoceces even three years later.

Sasuke Uchiha[]

Despite not officially meeting Sasuke until he was around 12 years old, Boruto greatly admires Sasuke, based on stories Naruto told his son about Sasuke. Boruto refers to Sasuke as "Uncle Sasuke", which is evident of a strong surrogate family bond formed between Naruto and Sasuke and their families. After meeting Sasuke, Boruto asked to be taken as his student so he can surpass Naruto. Sasuke, having known Boruto's unwillingness to take his ninja training seriously, told Boruto to learn the Rasengan first, which Boruto did after several days of training with Konohamaru. Boruto frequently complained during his training and preferred easy ways, but Sasuke tried to teach him the importance of hard work and to stop making excuses. Sasuke also explained to Boruto that it was more important to known Naruto from the past than the Naruto in the present because of all the hardships Naruto went through to become Hokage. While he was disappointed in Boruto for cheating in the Exams, he knew lecturing the boy was pointless and expressed sympathy for Boruto making mistakes to gain recognition. It would be Sasuke's encouragement that would lead Boruto to risk his life to help rescue Naruto and put his doubts aside in order to defeat Momoshiki. Before the battle against Momoshiki, Sasuke gave Boruto his scratched headband as a sign that he was his student.

Later after Boruto's death by Kawaki and his resurrection by Momoshiki, Sasuke gave his headband to Boruto as a gift to him. After Kawaki had swapped lives with Boruto through Ada's Omnipotence as it was Kawaki's wish. Sasuke doesn't remember him as his student and only remembers him as an outsider. But since Sarada wasn't affected by Omnipotence, Sarada begs her father to save Boruto. Sasuke would save Boruto from Ino-Shika-Cho group and while at a far away and recalls the first time that he met Boruto, making him his student, him creating the Vanshing Rasengan, and taking on Momoshiki, but due to Kawaki and Boruto switching lives, he remembers those moments of Kawaki. At a faraway location, Sasuke points out to Boruto that the notices the Headband that he gave to Kawaki and notices that it is Boruto who has the soul of Momoshiki in his body not Kawaki. Although Sasuke can't trust him memories and is countering against Ada's Omnipotence, he places his trust his Sarada and asks Boruto to prove Sarada right. After Boruto and Ada talked about Kawaki, Sasuke remarks of how Naruto's childhood was and notes that Kawaki is similar to Naruto. And asks Boruto to prove that Boruto is really Naruto's son. Although they were at a faraway location, they were still being prosuced and Sasuke takes Boruto to get away from the village. One year after leaving the village Sasuke would be training Boruto during that time period. Boruto would later obtain a imation of Sasuke's cloak and be given a sword from Sasuke and would complete everything that Sasuke would teach him leaving nothing left for Sasuke to teach him. Sasuke had compared Borut's determination to Naruto's and finally understood why Sarada asked him to protect him, as he trusted him and Sarada that they were ones who can resolve whater is going to happen. At some point they had a confrontation with Code, although Boruto wanted to aid Sasuke he was ordered to run certain they were unable to defeat Code, telling Boruto to surive and build on what he taught him and to watch over Sarada. Later Boruto would return to find several Claw Grimes defeated and fine one of Code's Claw Grimes had bitten Sasuke trapping him in a tree. Boruto would take his sword in a quest to save him. Boruto would still keep Sasuke's headband.

Mitsuki[]

Mitsuki is a classmate, teammate, and a close friend to Boruto. During the time his parent Orochimaru and his brother Log where testing him to see if Mitsuki could find his own will, independence, make his own decisions, and his own path in life. After completing his parent and brother's test (after six attempts) he was given a picture of Boruto from Log as Mitsuki needed someone who could be there light in the sky. Mitsuki went to Konoha to meet Boruto and befriend him. Boruto and Mitsuki would become good friends, it's been known that Mitsuki refers Boruto as his "sun in his sky". Mitsuki has often been around Boruto and spend his time around him and often agrees with his ideas without complaint although sometimes he would point out the flaws of his plans. He also will sometimes do the samethings that he does. It's been known that Mitsuki composure would change if anyone would threaten to harm or kill Boruto. Mitsuki has been shown to be very aware of Boruto's state and his relationships with Sarada, as he boldly state that the two would make an excellent couple together to the two, he also knows of how close the two are and how Sarada's tone would change when it come to him. And the mark on his right hand that he got from Momoshiki after their battle. After Boruto's death by Kawaki and resurrection by Momoshiki, Mitsuki state that he didn't know what to do to the person who would kill Boruto.

Shikadai Nara[]

Shikadai is a classmate and a childhood friend with Boruto. Shikadai and Boruto have known each other ever since they were kids, due to their parents staying close with each other over the years. It's been known that Shikadai doesn't take part in any pranks that Boruto does, although he'll sometimes in roped in with Boruto antics. It's also known that the two are relatives to Kages. It's also known that Shikadai would sometimes team up with Boruto and Inojin in some battles or mission. It's also been that the two along with Inojin would sometimes play video games with each other. During the Chunin, when Boruto was caught cheating Shikadai felt betrayed by his best friend. But the two would later reconcile after the battle with the Ōtsutsukis. The two along with Inojin have also been known to be collecting cards from a card game called "Extreme Shinobi Picture Scrolls".

Boruto's relationship with Shikadai was affected due to Boruto and Kawaki switching lives due to Omnipotence. With Shikadai remembering everything about Boruto and Kawaki being reversed.

Inojin Yamanaka[]

Inojin is a classmate and childhood friends with Boruto. Inojin and Boruto have known each other ever since they were kids, due to their parents staying close with each other over the years. Like with Shikadai, he doesn't take part in any pranks that Boruto does. Also like with Shikadai, Inojin plays video games with Boruto and has been collecting cards from from a card game called "Extreme Shinobi Picture Scrolls", and sometimes will team up with Boruto in some battles or missions.

Boruto's relationship with Inojin was affected due to Boruto and Kawaki switching lives due to Omnipotence. With Inojin remembering everything about Boruto and Kawaki being reversed.

Tsunade[]

When Boruto was young, Tsunade used to scold him as a kid. He told Sarada that she's scary when she snaps. It's unknown what he did (probably due to his antics and pranks that he put on Tsunade) but it made Bourto very afraid of her.

Sumire Kakei[]

Boruto has been often kind to her and calls her "Class Rep" despite after graduating from the academy. Sumire eventually developed a crush on him but it's currently he's unaware of her feelings for him or if he feels the same way for her. Sumire has state that she would be bother if there was anyone else who likes Boruto which shocked Sarada. It's been shown that Sumire was shocked when she heard that Kawaki killed Boruto, although he later was resurrected Momoshiki.

Konohamaru Sarutobi[]

Boruto got to know Konohamaru because of his father. Boruto calls him "Big Bro" or "Big Brother" like Konohamaru did with Naruto. During Boruto's time at the Academy, he still calls him Big Bro due to him rarely calling him Sensei. When Konohamaru and Hanabi were drunk discussing about letting Boruto take the Chunin Exams, he admitted that when Boruto calls him Big Bro makes him happy even though he hides it. He also takes pride saying that Naruto entrusted him to his care to his fellow Jonin's like Moegi. He also admitted that Boruto is a precious kid brother to him when he was drunk and being overprotective. Boruto also admitted that Konohamaru is also like a big brother to him.

Toneri Ōtsutsuki[]

Although not officially meeting, Toneri knows about Boruto, and he knows about Boruto having the Jōgan. Toneri told Boruto a prophecy through a dream where his eye, the Jōgan will be the star of hope against a calamity that will happen soon in Boruto's future. He told Boruto that the power of hope was slumbering deep within him. And that his eye will shoulder the fate of the world. That would guide him to a light that will dispel darkness. Toneri continued to watch the Earth, watching Boruto's progress in the future. Even wondering how Boruto will keep fighting even when destiny aganist him. While Toneri was being sent to Palace of the Dragon King for 10,000 years he noted that Boruto wasn't strong enough. It's implied that in the future, Toneri's prophecy of where Boruto's Jōgan being the star of hope will take place sometime after Boruto's dark future had passed.

Katasuke Tōno[]

Boruto and Katasuke are very close. Boruto knew Katasuke because of him trying to show his father the discovers in his research in Ninja Tools and even trying to show up at his home. Boruto calls Katasuke "Old Man Katasuke" while Katasuke calls him "Young Lord". Katasuke has always given Boruto a new game even the data of the game. During the time of the Chunin Exams their relationship became strained due to Katasuke being placed under a genjutsu that made Boruto get caught cheating during the exams and Boruto finding out that he's been used by Katasuke for his research. After the exams, Boruto hated Katasuke for using him during the Chunin Exams. Later, during a mission with Katasuke in escorting him to the Advanced Technology Research Institute, through Ao and seeing Chamaru's prosthetic leg, Boruto and Katasuke mend their relationship. Boruto would even learn about Katasuke being under a genjutsu during the Chunin Exams. Katasuke also watched in amazement when Boruto used the Kāma for the first time. Katasuke was also present when he learn about that Boruto is soon going to become Momoshiki Ōtsutsuki do to his Kāma. After the battle with Isshiki, Katasuke showed frustration as Boruto's Kāma progression was accelerating. Katasuke later learned about Boruto's account of how he was resurrected through Momoshiki's Kāma after being killed by Kawaki. He was delighted to hear that Momoshiki couldn't revive himself through Boruto. However Katsuke still believed that Amado's drugs when he raised the possibility that Momoshiki's consciousness could still take over Boruto. But Boruto dismissed the idea, feeling different after the resurrection and better able to access Momoshiki's power.

Amado Sanzu[]

The two are not particular on close but seem to be on good terms with each other. Boruto doesn't completely trust Amado, but was willing to uses his special medicine to slow down the development of his Kāma from turning him into an Ōtsutsuki slowing down Momoshiki's revival. Amado would also hear the news of Boruto being revived by Momoshiki and him becoming an complete Ōtsutsuki while remaining as himself. It was also state by Amado that Boruto and Kawaki need to train and get stronger to fight Code due to how powerful Code is.

Ada[]

Although Boruto was to coexistce with Ada and Daemon along with Kawaki. Ada is the cause of why Boruto had lost everything. As her and Kawaki had rewrote reality and had made Boruto and Kawaki switch lives. However despite this, Boruto never blamed or hated Ada for what she did. As Ada had subconscious used her ability due to Kawaki's wish. And Ada did apologize for what she did, and Boruto reveals her true ability being known as Omnipotence. Ada has vows to not disclose his and Sasuke's location while he's away from the village no matter how much Kawaki and Shikamaru try to insist until he returns. Ada had also taken the blame for what happened between Boruto and Kawaki.

Koji Kashin[]

Prior to Omnipotence switching Boruto and Kawaki's life, Boruto and Koji were originally enemies but when he learned of Boruto obtaining a Kāma he took an intresting him. After Kawaki was taken into Konoha, Koji had observed Boruto and Kawaki's Kāma seals spying on them through his toad.

Enemies[]

Momoshiki Ōtsutsuki[]

When Boruto went to rescue his father from Momoshiki after the Ōtsutsuki clan's invasion during the Chunin Exams, at the beginning of the rescue, Momoshiki knows that Boruto holds a fate greater than his father's. And later, when Boruto used a Parent and Child Rasengan that killed Momoshiki, Momoshiki's spirit talked to Boruto who can sense his presence due to his blood of a Byakugan user. Momoshiki noticed that Boruto strongly inherited the powers of Ōtsutsuki. He also told Boruto a prophecy where a pair of blue eyes will take everything from him and that he's no longer and ordinary human after defeating a god. Momoshiki would also place a Kāma on Boruto's right palm after his death.

Boruto became Momoshiki's vessel although he didn't know this until he was told about the Kāma's purpose. Boruto would learn that he would soon become Momoshiki as he bears Momoshiki's Kāma and that his personality will no longer exist. After Momoshiki's manifestation happened that endangered everyone around him, Boruto took Amado's Byakugan drugs to slow down the progress from Momoshiki from reincarnating through Boruto. During the battle with Code, Momoshiki mocked Boruto thinking that Amado's drug would stop the Kãma from extracting and viewing it as a stopgap measure in his Kãma's extraction. Momoshiki took over Boruto and began to fight Code through Boruto. After Naruto and Shikamaru arrive, Momoshiki absorbs chakra from Shikamaru's jutsu, causing Boruto to reawaken. After being impaled by Kawaki, with Boruto's body at 82% of Momoshiki's data, Momoshiki healed Boruto's body by using the last 18% as Boruto's data. By doing this, Momoshiki lost the ability to resurrect himself through Boruto, which the latter mocked him for. However, Momoshiki corrected him by explaining that despite the different end result, Boruto is now a complete Ōtsutsuki, meaning Code will eventually go after him as a sacrifice to the Ten-Tails. Boruto asked Momoshiki when he meant about his blue eyes taking everything from him, but Momoshiki laughed it off, noting that it was completely unrelated, having no idea of why that will come to pass, but knows that it will soon happen. After Boruto tried to assuage his mother that he promises to return, Momoshiki's spirit manifested himself to Boruto and berated him for making such a promise. He teased him about how he'll soon lose the will to live which would allow him to permanently possess Boruto's body essentially reincarnating. After Momoshiki's spirit dissipated, Boruto vowed that he will never let it happen.

While Amado is revealing his true motives, Momoshiki begins to speak to Boruto as they now have a mential link due to Momoshiki converting the last 18% as Boruto's data to revive him, he asks to keep it a secret of Kawaki, he would state that Amado is possibly lying about some parts of this statement to which Boruto would asked if Shibai truly exsticed he confirm the exstince of Shibai Ōtsutsuki and Shinjutsu, but reveal that he never heard of a Shinjutsu abilty that controls the hearts of others, due to their link Boruto was able to see into Momoshiki's thoughts he saw a vision int the future where his friends and Kawaki, Momoshiki would confirm to be the future that he saw, Boruto would also remember of the prophecy where Momoshiki told him where he will lose everything. Momoshiki would later find out about Ada's ability to enchant the hearts of others but wouldn't tell Boruto. Later after getting a scar on his right eye by Kawaki and with him escaping, Momoshiki would appear within his subconscious, telling Boruto that the dark future he foretold has begun. While the hunt for Kawaki, Momoshiki would tell him that his profiecy had begun, due to Ada and Kawaki's action to rewrite reality, switching the roles of Boruto and Kawaki. Momoshiki would taughted Boruto of losing everything. Momoshiki would also tell him of the Shinjutsu ability Ada used called "Omnipotence". That caused the change in reality, he would also tell him of how it works and how both Kawaki and Ada changed reality, he would also tell Boruto that Ōtsutsuki and for unknown reasons that Sarada are immune to Ada's Omnipotence, and those who are immune to it suffer the most. He would also tell him that he and Kawaki had switched roles. During the hunt for Boruto, Momoshiki tried to make Boruto give up and take permanent control over Boruto's body, but due to Sasuke saving him, Momoshiki became fustracted that Boruto wasn't go into despair failing to take control of Boruto's body. Even after Momoshiki told Boruto take the effects of Omnipotence can't be undone even if Ada was to be killed. Even after the passing of Momoshiki's prophecy, Boruto noted that he still hasn't lost a single thing as he has the blood of the hokage of his father and grandfather and the blood of the Hyūga from his mother and the will of fire within him and decided to prove Momoshiki wrong.

Code[]

Code is one of Boruto and Kawaki's enemies, both are a target for Code as he wants to sacrifice Boruto or Kawaki to cultivate a God Tree and a chakra fruit to become an Ōtsutsuki in order for him to become an Ōtsutsuki God. After the death of Isshiki Ōtsutsuki, Code vowed to to take venges for Isshiki's death on Bourto and Kawaki, it was also during that time Kawaki suggested to Boruto that he should make his own vessel and create a Kāma of his own by making Code his own vessel. Ultimately, this idea never happened as Boruto never found out how to make his own Kāma and or how branded Code with a Kāma. Boruto became a more highly prized target for Code after becoming a complete Ōtsutsuki. Due to Kawaki using Ada's Omnipotence to switch lives with Boruto, Code who wantes to take revenge on Kawaki for taking everything from him desires to exact his revenge on to Boruto. A year after Boruto and Sasuke had left the village, Code would have a confront them with his Claw Grimes, which result Sasuke giving Code a scar on his left eye Boruto would run away from Code from the request of Sasuke. Code would later continue in pursuit of him but failed to find him. And a two year later Code would attack the village in order to draw out Boruto, which cause Boruto to come out of hiding and Boruto would appear protecting Sarada while stepping on Code's face, telling him that his attitude is why girls are always creeped out by him. Code would try to attack him but Boruto has dodge his attack.
