Truly enjoyed my2years ofbeing amember atthis location. Itis run very well and has ample equipment toget agood workout inwithout long waits for machines orbenches. The facilities are clean and the staff isfriendly. Anadded perk isthe dimmed light setting soyou don’t feel like people are staring atyou while you lift. Greatgym, only cancelled because Iwas moving.

This gym isa blessing ineveryway. Excellent equipment. Huge spaces tomove freely and safely. Aterrific training staff. And always super clean. Amassive improvement from the previousgym. Everyone Iknow who’s joined TMPL ishappy.

One ofthe highlights coming out ofCOVID was being able torevisit anice, clean gym with afriendly and helpful staff. Asa long time NYSC member, Ican’t bemore delighted when NYSC Elite membership was transferred tosuch anupgrade atTMPL taking over the former David Barton location onAstor. The experience inthe past two years has been nothing but pleasant and enjoyable. Great appreciation for the staff and managers that have cared after this location. Very clean and extremely friendly staff! Locker rooms are spacious and somewhat private. The gym culture ispositive, supportive and bromo.

I really like thisgym! It’s aHUGE step upfrom Crunch. Itfeels more luxury and also soooo much space. Never crowded & plenty ofroom atany hour onthe machines/weights. The GMRolando isalso great.

Editing myprevious review after speaking with Rolando who now heads management atthe Astor Place location. Headdressed all ofmy concerns regarding day passes and towel allotment, and conceded that some ofthe equipment could use anupgrade. It’s clear he’s taking client concerns very seriously and the owners are making smart capital investments. Sounds like some positive changes are coming this year, and Istill really like the location and the expansiveness ofthisgym. Iam very pleased with the new management!… – show

I joined earlier this year inSeptember looking for anupgrade inmy gym routine (NYSC previously). Itwas okat first, the facility was abit unorganized and unclean atfirst. However, recently TMPL's general manager has made major improvements tothe layout, organization and overall cleanliness ofAstor Place. This definitely has perserved the luxury vibe ofTMPL. Favorite gym sofar inNYC, espically onMonday's with DJPumpkins House sets.

I was supposed toreceive areferral credit back inSeptember when myboyfriend signed upin July. Todate Istill haven’t received Itand they used the excuse “billing isbacked up”. I’ve tried toget intouch numerous times soI’d recommend not even offering Itif you’re not going tofollow through. Ilike this gym but this was super frustrating and dissatisfying.

I have been amember since Nov 2020and myworkouts atTMPL Astor Place. Ifind the facility clean, well-managed, with afriendly staff. There isplenty ofup-to-date equipment tochoose from. And there isalways anice mix ofmusic. The gym isquite spacious and the staff promptly addresses any needs and concerns Ihave. TMPL has areas with natural night which Ilove. There are other areas that are dark and might benefit from some white paint.
